Royal Canin Weight Care Dry Cat Food, 6 lb

My cat was 24 lbs in August, 2024. I switched her to Royal Canin, started her on portion control and encourage more activity. She's now 23.2. Royal Canin definitely works if you measure the portions out right and get your kitty moving.

Bought the dry weight and wet weight formula a month ago. Cat lost a little bit of weight so far

I started my chonky cat on this a few years ago when supply chain issues made the other kibble unavailable. My cat loves this food! Even my normal weight cat voluntarily eats this. Chonky cat lost a bit of weight and most importantly her poo is no longer an eye watering nose burning bio hazard. Yes this kibble is pricier than others, but the lack of waste odor makes it worth it.

My picky cats will eat this without any fuss and they really like the smell. This is the best reduced calories aval . all around. I had tried several brands due to cost, but keep coming back to R.C. Will just have to pay the cost . My (4 or 5 years) experience with all R C cat food choices have shown to be the best quality for the most beautiful coats.

The company claims to have proven results with over 90% of cats losing weight in 2 months. It contains 3209 kilocalories of metabolizable kilocalories per kilogram per cup. On the back of the bag there is a chart which allows you to see how much to feed you precious fur baby. The bag even talks about how to help transition from the old food to the new food, which I found so helpful. The food itself reminds me of small doughnuts, they are round in shape with no center. This cat food helps promote healthy metabolism with L-carnitine and it helps the cat feel full due to an ideal fiber blend. I was quite disheartened when I saw that the bag is no where near full, it's not even half full. I find this very wasteful and to be honest I feel this is poor management of the business to keep costs down for their consumers. I did like the top was resealable. All in all, my sweet fur babies would not even eat it they sniffed it and then walked away. I will not be buying this cat food. I also would like to advise this company to not package cat food like chip companies do!!!!!
