RP5605 Clock Radio

The CD player stopped workinbg after 1 week, the radio worked off & on-----it kept losing power for no reason. I actually overslept because the whole thing quit working. I want to return it, I have the receipt but not the box. I am very disappointed---I really wanted a CD alarm clock.

I love this product. It allows me to listen to a cd while I fall asleep and wake up to my favorite local radio station. The clock numbers are large and clearly visible in the dark but, not so big that they light up the room like a Christmas tree and keep you from sleeping. The clock is very easy to program. The cd player is simple to use - just lift the lid, insert the cd and hit the play button. The unit is small and compact, making it an easy fit on any bedside table. Radio reception is very good, even if used in a basement. When you are searching for radio stations, you can actually find stations coming in strong, steady and clear. The price is excellent. The RCA brand has a long standing, positive reputation; that is what prompted me to go with this particular item over other, similar items. The unit is very easy to program. I would not hesitate to recommend this product to anyone. I'm going to buy a second unit for the guest room.

There was no packing slip in the shipping carton so how to I return it? While it is compact and one of the few AM/FM Clock Radio/CD player with battery backup. It is virtually impossible to clearly see the lettering on the black buttons or on the player itself. Suggest that white lettering be used on settings so they can be seen, at least under light.

I got this item about a week and has used it every nights. I am pleased with it. One complaint to make is that the motor is a bit loud but for the money paid is good overall. I actually find it cheaper to get it at the store a few days later. Hm, thought was cheapper to shop online at Walmart for the majority of the time.

We were very disappointed with this alarm clock. The cd part is nice, but the black buttons have black writing, making it impossible to see which button to press unless you hold it up to the light. Don't know why they didn't use a bright color on the black. I wish we knew that before we bought it. We don't use the alarm clock, because you have to see the button to actually turn it off. You can hit snooze, but to turn off, you have to hold it up and press the button until the alarm is actually in "off" mode.
