This artificial rubber is made of a combination of ethylene propylene diene monomer (EPDM) and styrene butadiene rubber to inherit the strengths of both materials. The addition of elastomer SBR gives this synthetic rubber sheet a high level of physical durability and endurance for use in demanding applications. This sheet EPDM has a 60A durometer, meaning that it is fairly hard, but still retains reasonable flex and pliability.
