Rubbermaid 1784462 FastTrack® Vertical Ball Rack

I guess I'm joining the long list of disappointed consumers of this product. I'm not here to suggest the bands should never, ever break, but they should certainly last for longer than a year or two under, in my case, minimal use. And if they're not going to last, how about the ability to replace them. I wasn't even looking for free - I was more than willing and expecting to pay. But unexplainably, the part is not available as a replacement. The bands certainly exist, as the product is still for sale. Now, the entire rack is useless.

We have had it several months and noticed that the bungee cord is broken. I was searching the internet to see if there were parts I could purchase and found none. Also, realized that I am not the only one with this problem. Without the bungee cord working properly this product is useless.

So, clearly the rubber bungee cords used to hold the balls in were not built to last. We also have the dry rot problem that other commentors have made...my daughter just went to pull a ball out and the bungee snapped in half! I have two of these hanging in my garage, one is now useless.

I've had the same experience as most everyone else here. Good idea to store balls, but terrible quality on the bungee cords. Rubbermaid should be able to recognize the problem and offer replacements. I've since started using a different brand of garage storage products because of quality.

If you want to throw your money away, purchase this ball rack. I had the bungee cords on this rack break within a few weeks of installation. I came to this website to purchase a replacement or find out the warranty terms only to find there was none! Rubbermaid used to stand for quality, durable products but this sours my overall experience. If you can fix the bungee cords from snapping this would be a great item as it organizes your balls, is compact, and makes any ball accessible.
