Rubbermaid Glass Containers With Easy Find Lids, 6.0 PIECE(S)

The concept is wonderful but the lids that originally came on them the seals don't stick..wanted to replace with the newer lids and they don't sell them. Unless they start selling lids separately I dont plan on buying any more rubbermaid products as it becomes useless without the lid.

I have owned these storage containers for a while now. They hold well (glass part)and haven't had a real issue with leaks. But like a LOT of reviewers, the fact that you don't have replacement lids is pretty lame. I have owned these for more than 4 yrs. And have had a few of the lids damaged. Get it together Rubbermaid.

Was excited when I bought these a month ago. Took the Borl out of the fridge and the bowl with leftovers in the microwave at regular power for 60 seconds. The bowl exploded after 40 seconds. Shattered glass went everywhere in the microwave and fell out when I opened the door. Says microwave safe but it isn't.

I have been using plastic Rubbermaid food containers for years and was excited to finally switch to affordable glass ones. I have had the set for about a year and use them daily. Recently I was heating up some vegetables in my 1.5 cup size container in the microwave for 1 min 15 secs and after less than one minute I heard a loud "POP" and stopped the microwave, opened the door and the glass had shattered all over the microwave in 100 pieces! I was shocked as I had used these in the microwave before but now I refuse to heat up the containers in the microwave for fear of another explosion. I am shocked that this happened and cannot purchase a replacement as they are only sold in packs.

Love the glass storage,hate the lids with gaskets. Having trouble with some of the gaskets not sealing well and even warping and no longer fitting lid. It is not an issue of being washed in a dishwasher as they are all washed by hand. Replacement lids without gaskets I'm sure would solve the problem as I have purchased a glass storage bowl with the other type of lid. i would be very interested in speaking with someone in this matter.
