Rubbermaid Roughneck Latching Tote, 140 Qt (35 Gal), Blue, Set of 6

I have many of these totes from years ago, They have held up well. I'm not sure these new ones will be as long-lasting. Yes, they are better than the plastic ones in the stores, but these are much thinner than the old ones. I'm disappointed. Rubbermaid, Why did you change these? I would pay more just to have the older type back.

I have Roughneck storage boxes that have been in use for 30+ years that are still in great shape. I needed more and could not find them locally. Was happy to learn I could purchase online. Aside from color, new boxes seem identical to the originals. These are durable, stackable and really seal against dust. Highly recommend.

I have used the 'roughneck' storage containers for a number of years. I am a teacher and store books in a facility that is not climate controlled. The books are always in great shape when I open the containers each year. I was disappointed that I could not find a store in my area that sells the 'roughneck' division. I am so glad I was able to order them on-line!

I looked at others, but remembered that I already had some that went through a prior basement flood in my old house. The only things that survived that flood were packed in these containers. So of course I pulled off a label (which managed to survive) and ordered the exact same ones! Therefore, I would have to say without reservation these are topnotch containers and I may order more if the need arises.

I was so pleased to find out I could get another 10 gallon roughneck from Rubbermaid for my laundry area. I already had an old one for "whites" but I needed one for "darks" and they are not found in stores in my area. They fit perfectly in the laundry closet under the bottom shelf. They are sturdy, and not brittle like another brand.Thank you, Rubbermaid!
