Safety 1ˢᵗ Guide 65 Sport Convertible Car Seat, Glam

Well built, attractive and comfy for our grand daughter. It made more sense to us to buy this seat which allows Avery to use it with the built-in harness until she's 65 pounds than the more expensive model that limits harness use to 50 lbs. She's currently about 40 lbs., so this should last at least 2-3 years, and then we'll likely simply go to a booster seat at reasonable cost. Installing it in our 2015 Mazda 6 did take some patience, but that seems the case for any seat of this type,all having the same basic installation requirements. Read the directions and also watch the Youtube videos on installing this model and others of its type to make things easier.

I received the Safety 1st Sport convertible car seat going to use it for our son due next month. However, our 18 month old has commandeered the seat. Since she needs a new car-seat , with more room we installed this car seat in her Grammy's car --her Grammy cares for her daily and loves this car seat. The seat is for children weighing 5-65 lbs ! It extremely light, surprisingly so. I don't have a scale but it;s definitely lighter than other brands of car seats we utilize. It has soft, breathable fabric and a wonderful cup holder--perfect for hungry toddlers. the best thing I like about this seat is the gray neutral color. If we decide to buy a larger seat when our daughter is older by then, our soon to e new baby boy can graduate into this one!

This car seat is the easiest car seat to assemble I have ever had, it took my husband less than 10 minutes to install and comes with everything you will need for many years to come. The cover is a light brown gray and neutral enough to use with a boy or girl. The cover detaches and slips off easily to be able to just throw in the washing machine for cleaning. You can also depending on the stain spray it with some oxy clean and use a kitchen sponge to spot clean, the material is sturdy enough to allow you do this. The head harness has side impact protection and it cradles your child's head while they ride and will be able to hold it in place should they fall asleep so they're head is not going from side to side. The harness is adjustable by simply pressing down on the latch on the inside front of the car seat. The thing I like the most about this car seat is that it is both rear and front facing it grows with your child and it will be in use up to 65 lbs. The only thing that I don't like personally is that its comes with a cup colder that has to be attached on the inside of the car seat. It must be placed outwards towards the inside of the vehicle or it will come in contact with the car door. While this is not a pet peeve for most for us because was have limited space in our SUV it interferes with the ability of having a third back seat passenger. All in all this is a great car seat perfectly capable of ensuring your child's safety and riding in comfort and is very affordable as well.

I am very pleased with this product. The main reason we bought one was because our other one looked awful. I bought this approx 1 month ago for my 18 month old who is my 3rd child. I went online basically just wanting a nice looking car seat for a reasonable price and found this one that not only met my requirements, it came with more. I really appreciate the price for this car seat. It is classy looking, VERY WELL cushioned, and I also really like the side pillows to protect the head. I think my baby really like that as well. It also comes with a cup holder. It was easy to assemble and put in our van. She does seem to sit straight up in it so we were able to angle it down so she can fall asleep in it if she wants. Great product for the money!!!
