Safety 1st - Alpha Omega Elite Convertible Car Seat, Black/ Green

i bought this as a gift for my grandson. my daughter loves it & says it's a very good seat, as she can still have the baby rear facing even though he is past the recommended age. she feels it is safer. the set up was a bit tricky, but very secure. and the seat will grow w/ the baby...a very good product that i would definitely recommend.

My husband and I love this carseat. It gives our son a lot of extra room, so he doesn't feel so confined like in the infant one. It is very padded, and I absolutely love the fact that you can adjust the height of the headrest/shoulder straps without having to take the whole thing apart. We just traveled for the holiday and our 8 month old was in his seat for 17 hours. He seemed very comfy! The only problem we have encountered is with our vehicle. We have an '05 GMC Yukon with leather seats. The second row is bucket seats and the carseat will not lean back far enough to level out like it's suppose to. We had it checked by a professional and she said it would be ok as long as baby had enough head control. Otherwise this product is great!!

I do like this car seat don't get me wrong, however, it is difficult to install. Even in my 2006 durango it takes up most of my back seat. Don't bother with the using the latch system it is a waste of time. I found that with leather seats using the seat belt was easier and we got a tighter fit.

My 2 almost 3 year old has had this car seat since she was a 1 year and loves it!! We looked around for a convertible carseat for quite some time because most felt extremly uncomfortable even just to press on, since we do alot of traveling due to my husbands career we wanted something comfortable for our child. And so far I have no complaints nor does my 2 year old!! Would highly recommend it!

This is our second purchase of this seat. Our 2 year old son has been in his since he was 5 months old. He has traveled very well in the seat. It is easy to adjust the shoulder straps as your child grows. Our 2 month old will move to this seat when he outgrows the carrier that he is currently in. I highly recommend this seat!
