I bought this potty chair for my 2 year old son. He doesn't have trouble positioning himself on the potty but when he does go it gets under the "comfy cushy" seat! I personally find that a huge negative! We also had to remove the lid, when he would try to reposition himself it would slide all over or close on him, it does have grippers but they don't seem to work on the ceramic tile! Dumping it isn't easy either, it has a lip on it where the urine is supposed to go for easy pouring but it just goes everywhere! I'm not very pleased with this potty but it serves it's purpose!

I don't see why anyone would rate this negative. I run a daycare and have used two of these for over a year now to potty train several children...both boys and girls. The boys (on most pottys) have to be reminded of how to sit on the potty but that's normal. These are easy to set up out of the box, basic, easy to clean, and durable. They still look new after a year of continuous use. Its small and great for new learners to open it up and use it by themselves and then they can shut it and it doubles as a step stool.

We bought this for our grandson several months ago. The only thing he will use it for is a step stool. Also, the removable soft seat is a joke. He takes it off and runs through the house with it. As I stated, we have had it for several months and he just wont use it. Save your money and buy something your child cant take parts off of and run through the house with!

My son is 13 months old. We looked at potties for about 5 minutes in store before we chose this one. I got it out the box, set it up in a matter of minutes, and decided we would try it out just for kicks. To our suprise, he used it. And he used it again and again. I'm amazed! Many of the reviews say not to buy this potty if you have a boy, but I have seen no problems. Everytime he gets on it, his parts are shielded, it works good for us. I'm so happy we got this potty. I have friends with potties that sing and do all kinds of cool things, but I've found they are more distracting than useful. This potty is very easy to clean, as far as I see. I do see a couple of issues (1) the lid is bothersome, it does close entirely too easy and does have to be a good distance from the wall in order for it to stay open, meaning there is no back support. (2) The comfy ring doesn't secure to the potty so when its not in use, its a toy. Even when in use, my son can pull it up, which distracts him. All in all, good potty!!

BEWARE of this product! I purchased this seat about two weeks ago for my two year old son. I have just spent $60.00 to have a new potty overnighted to me. This product is simply disgusting. The blue ring that is supposed to be comfy and cushy acts as a sponge and will soak up any matter that it comes in contact with. I have tried everything I can to get it clean but it is IMPOSSIBLE, I can literally ring out the matter that is inside of it. I am a clean freak and wipe down the potty after each use, but that has not helped at all. It also smells beyond belief. I have never written a review before but this product is just a complete mess!
