I received this tub for my baby shower. I am so glad I got this one and not the one from Toys or Us (which was twice as much) I love the sling which is great for a newborn, and very easy to remove to wash in the machine. Also, the pitcher was very convienient. I also liked that it had a thermometer, I take HOT showers, so what felt okay to me might be too hot for the baby. It also includes a drain plug which is nice. It doesn't let every drop of water out but it works pretty good. I used this until my daughter was about 7 months old. I would definatley buy this a baby shower gift. Great product.
I can't say enough bad things about this tub! I was hesitant to buy because the sling felt very cheaply made, but it was the only tub with a newborn sling I could find at the time. The very first time I set my daughter in this, the sling ripped at the seam near one of the clasps that secures to the tub, making the sling completely useless. She only weighs 7 lbs! I tried to set her in the end with an incline, as she can't sit by herself. The outer edge of the tub doesn't have much of a 'lip' at the top, so when I tried rinsing her hair, water ran all over the edge and onto my countertops. The toddler end is just as useless. The back support is only a few inches high, and doesn't even sit straight up-and-down. It is at a bit of an angle so when your baby leans back, their bottom slides out from under them and the can't sit up easily. The bottom of the tub has recessed areas on either side with only one drain. When you drain the tub and go to rinse off the baby, it never drains on the one side, trapping soapy water in the tub with the baby. There are much better tubs with infant slings out there!
Haven't used yet but my husband has played with it and likes it. Fits our sink fine and looks easy enough to clean up, the trick will be to let it completely drip dry before putting it away
Best value! You might pay more for a different baby tub that has more bells and whistles, but this is the best practical design and you can't beat the price. Unlike the tub I received at my baby shower, this one is so user-friendly, and my daughter is comfortable in it. Since I purchased the tub when she was 15+ lb., I haven't tried the cute froggy hammock, but it seems like a great design. There is no big giant ledge in this tub, which your baby's bum would rest on, and therefore be a real pain to maneuver around to clean those areas. There is just a nice gentle slope, so your baby can recline comfortably with little danger of slipping around or sliding down into the water that pools when the plug is in. All I can say is I'm so glad I bought this tub and stopped using the other one I had. The two squirty toys it came with are cute, too! I would only recommend this tub brand and model to other moms.
I have been using this tub for the last 4 months. I used the Frog "sling" for about the first 3 and then removed it and have just been using the tub part since. The frog head is very soft on my sons head. The sling works great. It holds him above all of the water so when you are rinsing off, the water just drains and you dont have to worry about still having soap all over. It is easy to attach the frog and then to remove it. The foam on the bottom of the tub is nice too. My son just loves bath time. We use this everyday and it still looks great!
