Our daughter is 2 1/2 and since birth has had to make frequent trips to a childrens hospitol for surgeries and appointments 3hrs away. We wanted to find a comfy car seat for those long rides, this has certainly fit the bill. she has been using it for a year and a half and we just ordered another for a second daughter coming in May.

i luv my daughters new seat the only thing i dont like is that when she falls asleep in it her head hangs forward and looks very uncomfortable but other than that so far its been great

I love this seat overall. It is very roomy for my 19 pound 7 month old. The color is just gorgeous. It is different from the picture however. The picture shows it to be almost a magenta color but it is actually a deep wine purple with pink trim. I like this color as my baby is a boy so it works. The removal of the infant head rest proved to be rather intimidating as you have to tear apart the base to get to the straps to be able to unhook them to get the infant cushion out...to much a a pain so since I don't plan on using this seat for a new born I just cut the piece off with scissors. Being able to adjust the straps and main headrest with just the twist of a handle is very easy and convenient instead of having to re-thread the straps all the time. The hardest part was installation as I have an older vehicle (98 Ford Escort ZX2 2 door coupe) that doesn't have the LATCH system so I have to use the shoulder/lap belt. This proved to be difficult for a couple main reasons. First the base of the seat is very wide so squeezing the seat up against he side of the car while trying to thread the belt through was a little hard. Second was securing the seatbelt so the base wouldn't slide....now I am not a tiny person, I tip the scales at over 200 pounds, it took every ounce of strength I had (I did this without help) plus contorting myself into a pretzel so that I was basically standing in the seat itself while bent over in the back seat of my car to get the seatbelt to hook...but it did and it is very secure..It took about 20 minutes to do and I had to use the H clamp as well. A lighter person will definitely need help unless they are using the LATCH system The fabric is very soft and plush with plenty of padding.

I bought this seat when my daughter was 4 months, she has been in this from that time on. She loves it. I hae put it thru the tests and I really love this set, an I am in the process of getting another one for a spare to have on hand. I have noticed that when she falls asleep her head doesn't fall forward.

I have been through two carseats, One was almost double the price of this one and I was NOT satisfied! My daughter is a yr and a half. I was simply looking for comfort, style and most importantly safety, all in one low price!! I found it all in this carseat! My daughter loves it!..and so do I! The only thing I have to complain about is the recline.. It's a little hard to recline, sometimes i'll pull out the recline handle and it won't lean back.. but other than that I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT! I'm so glad I purchased this carseat!
