I dont know why they preinstall the spline in the grooves. You have to remove the spline in order to add screen yet when you try to get the spline out it breaks no matter how gentle you are. Completely bogus.

I was pleasantly surprised that it went together so easy. I dont understand why the spline was pre installed in the groove. After digging them out, it was easy.

This is very lightweight material. It will work if you can't find anything else, but bends very easily and is no where as easy to work with as the more solid metal frames when putting the screen mesh in and installing it into the window.
