Sambucol Black Sambucus Elderberry Syrup, Immune Support, Liquid Syrup for Kids and Adults, 7.8 Oz

Samboucol Black Elderberry Syrup works as it should. I take the approriate dose each day and so far no colds. The only thing about this syrup is it isn't sweet like many others. I mention this because I think a child would be off put by the taste, it's almost sour. If your child likes the sweet syrup I would not purchase this particular brand.

Today, I was very disappointed when I received my order. I bought 3 bottles . Among them is 1 bottle. It's almost expired. Inside, the liquid was damaged. I do not know. And gave my child a drink. When I look back, I know the product has almost expired. It's so disappointing.

I have been taking this product daily for two and a half years. Used to get sinus infections in Spring and Fall due to allergies, but have had only one very minor sinus issue over the past two and half years. Not saying it totally prevents allergy related issues, but sure lessens severity.

I started Sambucol about a year ago after seeing the commercials on tv. I got a slight feeling of a sore throat and took two shots—the next day I woke up feeling 100% better. I was convinced that it does what it is supposed to do for the body. I don't take it everyday. Two to three doses a month usually works for me or when I'm feeling a little under the weather.

With my primary doctor's advice, I have been using daily Sambucol Black Elderberry Syrup for about two years for the sole purpose of strengthening my immune system. I believe it is useful for that. It is not something that makes you feel better, as a previous negative comment about it indicated was expected of it. In fact, so far as I can discern, there is no physical feeling at all. It complements Vitamin C and Omega 3, which I also use daily and which also do not produce any discernible physical feeling.
