[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this nearly 18 months ago — works like a charm. - OTR microwave oven is heavy. Will need experienced and professional to install it properly. Samsung did provide all necessary hardware along with a mounting channel that goes in the rear on the wall and is invisible after the installation. Two bolts does the heavy lifting of securing this OTR microwave oven. - Glass Door is beautiful and not that challenging to keep it clean. Just wipe with damp cloth and then with dry cloth to bring it back to a shiny new appearance. - Cleaning of the interior of this beautiful OTR microwave oven is a breeze due its unique nonstick kind of ceramic surface finish. - Platter huge in diameter (~14”) and with available space one can cook almost any bigger size portion with an ease. - I liked the nearly silent external exhaust fan that could go to a powerful high boost exhaust at level 4. I've used in external exhaust fan configuration. It can be configured either in upward direction or at 90 degree through the kitchen back wall. Installer should be able to knock down two rear panel and change the exhaust fan to your installation needs. It also comes with an exhaust door for your wall exhaust opening. - Next one is OTR lights. There're two levels to operate. It's very handy not needing to turn on all lights in kitchen when focus is on cooking and understanding the stage of cooked food in the pot/pan. - I've tried almost all different cooking modes and so far so good.

I've had this microwave for about a month and will likely replace it soon. I am incredibly disappointed. 1. It will NOT heat up the two plastic bottles of water I use every night, no matter how long I leave them in. Why in the world would it not heat water in bottles??? I can pour the water in a cup and it heats fine, but not in the plastic bottle. Even using the Cook-Liquid feature it won't heat. Since I heat these every day, the microwave is worthless to me. 2. The controls, which are built into the glass, do not light up. We have to use a flashlight at night or turn on the overhead light. Why would they make controls you can't see? 3. It does not have any quick keys, like touch 1-6 and it starts for 1-6 seconds. You have to hit 2-0-0-Start for it to run for two minutes. Our microwaves from 20 years ago had quick keys! Even the “add 30 seconds” button requires you to hit start. 4. It is NOT white, even though it is called “White Glass”. It is off white and looks dingy next to my white appliances. 5. The underneath lights are little circuit boards and not easily replaceable and they are stark white. They look ridiculous. I love my Samsung televisions but I will never buy a Samsung appliance again.
