Samsung - 7.5 Cu. Ft. Smart Gas Dryer with MultiSteam and FlexDry™ - White

I have had the dryer for 3.5 years and I have been very happy with it. Excellent quality, many options, top dryer great for drying delicates or shoes. On the downside the washer has died a long time ago so it didn't make it to the two year mark.

Bought this product just over a year ago, used for less than 12 months as we bought it before moving in. A week ago, the drier started making a loud band with every revolution of the drum, so there is clearly a problem. Just out of warranty so I expect a big repair bill. Product has only had light use, just me and my wife, no big family, so this is especially disappointing. Love the drier and it does a great job, shame about the problem, this has certainly put a question over durability and has put a downer on Samsung products, hope the washer proves more durable.

Attractive design, efficiency, and quiet (compare to my old dryer) One odd thing is light does not turn on automatically when door is opened (not sure why they thought that is a good idea).
