I connect it to my phone with my type c plug and plug it into my computer and transfer it to my hard drive. Then to my cloud. Just how easy it is is just awesome and quick. I can do it in 5 mins. I ALWAYS keep my usb drive with me that has to contain EVERYTHING important in my computer, in case something happens to the house while I'm gone. This meant I needed something that could handle the elements, because I also ride my Harley in thunderstorms if the weather is warm enough. When I found Samsung's usb flash drives and read how they are waterproof and so much more, I bought one that instant. I * STILL* have the very first one I bought about a decade ago. I now have 6 of the drives...3 of the bar drives, and three of the short drives. I keep these in a plastic baggie in my pocket wherever I go. My house could burn down and other than the loss of equipment my meager disability check could get me over the years, I would be able to get on any computer I wanted and have all my information right there. I even have one of the short drives contains a live version of Slackware Linux that I use. These drives are worth every penny! At this moment, there's literally no other flash drive, from any other company, I would use. These drives have held up through all weather, all kinds of situations (like being in my pocket crawling in the mud under the house when a water pipe burst the other night. MUDDY is all I was when I got done), etc, and works like new always.
