Samsung - Galaxy SmartTag, 1-Pack - Black

Another galaxy device must be near it to be able to see the location. Would have been nice to know that before buying. So if something is lost/stolen you won't be able to see its location unless another galaxy device is near it. So if they have an iPhone, you're out of luck.

I received 4 of these a couple of weeks ago and so far I have not been able to get them to work properly. When I try to get the location all I get is a message saying "Server or Network failure. Try again later." This has been happening for over a week. So far unable to figure out what is going on. I will be using these for luggage tracking and need them to work. I can communicate with them from different rooms but they do not track.

I have had these for about a month, and they work-ish. They location is not very precise, and the button doesn't always function. One of them makes weird noises at random times for seemingly no reason at all. Additionally I got them for my pets and while I think that they would ultimately serve the purpose, since the location is not precise I'm not sure that it would be as helpful as I would like if I was trying to find one of my pets.

Just ok. I tested it with my dog and husband. They went for a walk about a little over a block from our house, and my phone couldn't locate the tag. If something as simple as that doesn't work, what happens if my luggage is stolen by an airline worker? How do I find it then?

this seems to be common among reviewers, would like more options like with a tile. for me specifically, something flat to go in my wallet. i like it better than tile overall as a galaxy user though, because the smart things app has my tags, my watch, and my earbuds all in one place.
