Samsung L100 8.2 Megapixel Compact Camera, Red

I purchased this camera a year ago, and though it was reasonably priced, it had its complexities to make it feel like a real high tech piece of equipment. Well I would still be using and loving it, but when I went to the DR, someone stole it from me along with all my memories at the beach and all, so now I must purchase another (up till now, I had trouble finding this camera, but now, I guess in time for the holidays, it's attainable once more). I really loved the fact that it looked really cute, (mine was red), and sleek. I found a cute camera bag( I really looked like a tourist with it hanging from my neck) and had all the cords in tow. I also adored the fact that when you play back pics, they had awesome music you could choose along with different effects. I really wanted to get another camera just to compare and see if it would even offer the same options, but I'm going to stick with this winner! It really is the perfect camera for all occasions and people will admire your choice too. HTH

My 6 year old daughter had been saving all the money she has gotten for her birthdays etc. so she would be able to purchase a digital camera. We did a lot of research and looked for the best value for her money. It wasn't pink like she wanted but, she was still happy with the purchase. This camera is very light weight and compact. The fact that it came w/a carrying case and a memory card was great! She has taken quite a few pictures and they have turned out wonderful,it's great being able to view the world thru her eyes. This camera don't have a bunch of fancy options,but I feel that we really didn't need them anyway,in fact I find myself using her camera quite often because it's so small and convenient to carry around.I uploaded a picture of a cactus she took a picture of @ out local home improvement store,to show you the quality of the photo.

I purchased this for my girlfriend for x-mas. She really likes it, and the pictures come out nice. I used it a few times and noticed that the flash recharges a bit faster then other cameras I have used. It is surely not a $1200 high end camera, but is nice for what it is; an inexpensive point and shoot pocket cam.

I absolutely loved this camera when I first bought it. It took very nice pictures, although the double flash made people stop posing after the first flash because they thought the camera had already taken the picture. After about a month, the lens was stuck and would not retract when I powered off the camera. When the camera would not turn on, I tried charging it, and replacing the battery, but the camera was still broken. I returned it and bought the same exact camera because I had liked it so much in the beginning. Within another 3 weeks the same camera broke but in a different way. The flash does not work (the camera gives the error "flash does not operate"), pictures do not take immediately, then when the camera takes the pictures it takes about 2 seconds to "capture" and then another 4 seconds to "process" before the picture pops up on the screen. Because of the slow capture, the pictures typically come out blurry and taking pictures at night are an impossibility. I will be returning this camera again and am disappointed I have had such bad luck with it even though it was never physically damaged or dropped. It had such wonderful potential.

I JUST bought this camera today, and i am more than satisfied w/ it. After buying and returning 3 camera's i debated between this and the Sony Cybershot and decided on this. I am so happy with it. I would recommend this to anyone. It's affordable, compact, fast, great color, etc. Love it !
