The phone overall is a nice phone. I've only had it for going on thirty days. I'm getting rid of it and going back to an Iphone for two reasons. The first one has nothing to do with the phone other than it is only offered here with AT&T service. And for my area, I have too many times where I have no service where I need it. I never ever had that problem with my iphone at Verizon. The other and really only thing I hated about the phone is that the buttons are too small for me to text with. And for some reason when I hit the space bar, most often it puts a period there and starts a new sentence. I kept having to back space/delete, and be very gentle and quick at hitting the space bar. Most times it takes up to three times to get it right. And the alternate functions for the buttons are hard to read due to the small size.
I am satisfied with my new cell phone. I have gotten mostly Samsung products the past few years because they work longer and have an excellent battery life. I also picked thid particular phone because it can be used on the 30 or 45 dollar plan, which allows my flexibility in m budget.
Was tired of having smart phones that could do everything but place a call. Nice to get back to basics
My wife has been a straight talk customer for a few years. Her last two phones were touch phones and she hated them. She dropped and broke her last phone so when I bought her this one (not a touch phone) she was very happy and told me she loves this one.
phone would not text or allow data in any area code except the one phone was registered in. Straight Talk Tech said it was because phone was registered in Illinois. Phone would make calls anywhere but not send text or data except in zip code where I live. How weird is this? Got rid of this phone after a few hours. Not at all what the phone specs said.
