I updated the C139 Tracfone for this new cell phone and am very pleased with it. I love the speaker phone for no hands talking, the fact that you can use a blue tooth headset, taking pictures and connecting to the web. I found that adding my friends, family and business telephone numbers to this new cell phone was easier than doing it on the C139. This is also a very User Friendly cell phone. When I received the new cell phone I didn't see any other instructions other than how to setup the cell phone itself and it shows all of the features on the cell phone. Then I got worried. But after I set it up and charged it fully the first time, then I had the chance to look at everything on the cell phone. It was very easy to figure out what to do and how to do it. I talked with my Brother as soon as I got it setup and talked for about an hour with "No Hands", and while I was eating. That was fun! You can't hold on to a Subway sandwich while holding the phone in the other hand. Well, I used to try that and ended up spilling and dropping stuff in my lap all the time...LOL. If you're looking for a inexpensive cell phone where you're in control of the monthly costs, then this is a great one to purchase. I have the Tracfone 50 minutes $10 a month Value Plan and it's double for the life of the cell phone so that's 100 minutes every month. This is a great cell phone and a great value plan. I highly recommend this cell phone!
A perfect phone for regular calls, texting, etc. For low time use customers, this is the way to go. it sure beats the high cost of the major carriers, yet you have the same features.
I think the value of a tracfone all depends on your personal phone expierence. My first phone was the Motorola w376g tracfone, which I got when I had just turned 13. I had that phone for about a year and got this phone around Easter-ish this year. I haven't had a single problem with it. I like the freedom I have with my tracfone, and its really helped me to be responsible with my minutes. Being a teenager, I just wish the phone was more stylish. Its a slide up keyboard which is an upgrade from my last phone, but it doesnt compare to the droids and iphones that my friends have. Nevertheless, I'm very content with the broswer, battery life and camera of my phone and the price can't compete with any other prepaid phones out there. For the price, its a really good phone, but if tracfone came out with a keyboard phone I'd be really excited.
I've had this phone for a couple of months now, and I've worked it hard. I have little to no mercy for the slider. I make it snap open as though it is bound by an infallible metal binding. I've dropped it on numerous occasions, and once into a washing basin (if ever so briefly though), and it's never failed me. Initially I chose it for the price, the cool look and the rounded corners, for the double minutes for life, and hopefully for the renowned coverage (because I fish, and visit the mountains as much as I can). With respect to these apects, the phone has been exceptional. Before I turned to tracfone, I was warned about the lack of service if ever I needed some. Alas, the need has never arisen, and I have forunately not had any experience there. The battery life has been a little dissapointing though. I don't use the phone all that much, and I only get three days worth service before needing to charge again. Fortunately the charging happens reasonably fast. The camera, if anything is rather mediocre. But this is me comparing it to my DSLRs -not fair. The web browser is easy enough, but not to spend too much time on it, as I can see myself becoming permanently squint - screen is plenty big, but not to stare at for long, and certainly not to do any work on. Leave that for the lappie. It's a very nice phone.
Finally a cell phone that works and gives me what i want. the samsung cell phone is small and even fits into my hand, purse better yet it has double minutes!!ya hoo!! anyone who wants a cell phone which lasts long the quality of the product is excellent when making call is great as is the functions on the cell phone the double minutes means when you purchase a card you get another 60 or whatever minutes you purchase. I would recommand this tracfone to anyone who wants a new phone or the first time user of tracfone!
