Same sound as the high-dollar radios put out by the top stereo manufactures at half the price!

Very nice radio performance both FM and AM. Can't recommend as an alarm clock though. Rather large to place on a nightstand, but the remote would allow you to place it elsewhere in the room. My biggest issue was the size/brightness of the display. The LCD display is about the size of a deck of cards. While dimmable over a good range, it is still too bright at its lowest setting for a dark room. Further, at the lower settings, the display then becomes hard to read in a bright room. Probably a common problems with these LCD screens, but the size of this one is problematic at night.

Good tuner range on FM. More high tech than I need. Good range of brightness but hard to see digital numbers. But am enjoying it.

Great sound and a nice look. Wish it also ran on batteries so I could carry it from room to room.

Value and performance can't be beat. It is easy to program and looks good too. All AM radios are directional, but this radio has connections for an external antenna, and if you are a fan of the AM band and talk radio this is a feature not often found on radios in this price range. If your radio placement does not allow best reception for your favorite stations then I suggest purchasing a passive inductive loop antenna for outstanding AM reception (terx ).
