The directions don't tell you to put a screw in the hole where the front of the glide is. If you don't, it's easy to break since it's made of plastic.
Overall a great bookshelf. Assembly is rather easy. This paricular unit had a slight defect with the finish pealing along the end of the top shelf.
Love the bookcase. I liked it so much I had to get a second one. I use them as a DVD storage case. My 3 year niece was hanging from one of the doors and broke the plastic slider. I contacted Sauder and they sent replacement parts with no problem.
This bookcase is as beautiful as shown in the picture. The assembly goes smoothly and the finished product looks classy!
this is a sturdy , well made and NICE barrister bookcase Took my husband about 30-45 minutes to put it together The price is WONDERFUL as well !! Yes, I'd buy another or 2 , no question about it
