Sauder File Cabinet, Cottage Home Collection

The detail instructions was easy to follow and understand. I am very happy with my purchase. The only snag that I had was not understanding that the rail release was a push to the side. If there was a way to document this clearer then the instuctions would be perfect. The conections used is an improvement from what was used several years ago. I like how easy the draws slide on the ball bearing rails.

Sauder came through for me again. Always quality, but this cabinet is extremely nice. It is very solid and, consequently, heavy, so it's difficult to move (empty). Follow directions even if they don't make sense and it goes together very easily. Such a nice solid piece of furniture with a locking drawer, holds legal or letter size folders or use as storage. It looks like a 2-drawer chest, sits in my bedroom with a large TV on top with room to spare. The finish is beautiful! Much better than expected, and I expect a lot when purchasing Sauder!

This product was not as easy to assemble as the manual made it seem. It took one person 5 hours to assemble. However, it was worth the work. The product matched right up to the desk I already had from Sauder and it works great for storage and a printer stand. Definetly has the quality to match the Sauder Name!!

I purchased this cabinet to replace a metal one. It looks soooo much nicer, and holds a lot of stuff. I'm actually considering buying one more. The site to store options great to save on shipping. Took me one hour to put together, the instructions were easy to follow. The only two things I didn't like, was the board that goes on the back is flimsy.... I wish it looked like the front and sides... as long as its against a wall its okay...its like a strong piece of cardboard is all. I'm not too excited about the handles, but I'm sure I'll find something to replace those at the hardware store. Overall, great cabinet, love the lock, keeps my kids out.

This product looks good in the pictures but don't be fooled. After fully assembling the product. The drawers do not line up so that it closes properly and the lock for the top draw came with the nut stripped, which made it impossible to tighten it down. Also, the product looks like it is made out of wood, but it is made out of particle board. I would return the product but now it is completely together and I can't fit it in my car not to mention it took a lot of my personal time to put it together. As you can see, I am very disappointed in this product.
