Sauder Library Bookcase Sugar Creek Col

The color that they show in the picture is not the same color that it really is, its more of a darker oak color...Plus it had cracks on the sides and the front piece came completely broken...I just picked it up from the site to store and we decided to keep it instead of return it b/c we picked it up from another state and it will probably end up costing us more with tolls gas etc. :( It still looks nice though, I am going to contact them today about getting the piece replaced b/c that cannot be hidden like the other two cracks were (the other cracks were on the side but furniture and a wall are hiding it..

It is easy to put together and looks great as a finished product. The only downfall is that on the edges of the outside panels where there was supposed to be a circular cut, a small part around the outside edge was torn off rather than cut nicely. So now looking at the front top and bottom edges you can see where it was ripped off. Otherwise great product.

Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of this bookcase. My only disappointment was that it was darker than the picture showed. I was trying to match it to my daughter's bed color. Even the picture on the box appeared to be a lighter wood than what was inside the box. So if you're matching wood color, be prepared that it may be darker. It was fairly easy to put together, and it doesn't look like a cheap bookcase. I thought it was well worth the money I paid for it.

I am very happy with this bookcase. It looks much more expensive than it is. My two trim pieces were scratched up a bit but you really can't tell now that it's all put together. After reading the other reviews I knew that it was going to be darker than it looks in the photo but it is even darker than I thought it would be. The color is more like a maple. Other than that I think it's a really good deal and good looking bookcase.

It was very easy to put together. My husband kept waiting for me to ask him for help. The instructions were easy to read and very few tools were requiered. could have used a few more small nails for the back panel board. For the price you cant beat it. Over all I give it five stars
