SO FAR THIS TV HAS WORKED REALLY WELL. THE SOUND TO ME IS FINE AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND WHY SOME REVEIWS STATES IT HAS BAD SOUND. I ALSO HAVE A 40INCH MODEL AND FOR THE PRICE AND DELIVERY OF BOTH, ALL I CAN SAY IS......BUY IT!!!!

Great TV but needs to be hooked up to external speakers.

Sceptre makes great monitors. And a 23" monitor for $138.00 was a good deal. But no VGA cord came with it. But, I don't have a VGA plug on my tower ! Uh, oh. A trip to Radio Shack. The adaptor reduces the monitor's clarity by about 14 %. Now, I have the added cost of a VGI adaptor, and gas, and time. Some minor assembly required. No biggie. One question ? Why didn't WalMart include these inconveniences in it's ad ? Why didn't Sceptre list on it's box that no VGA cord was enclosed, so I could have bought the adaptor while at WalMart ? If you don't own a VGA cord, add another $25.00 - $40.00 to this price. Now, how attractive is this offer ? A 4 on a scale of 10.

this tv is okay but for the sound. the speakers are in the back and the sound is louder out of the room than in it despite being used in a small bedroom.

Great picture. The sound leaves a lot to be desired, but a sound bar fixes that. Good value for the price.
