Schwinn Meridian Adult Tricycle, 26-inch wheels, rear storage basket, Blue

We purchased this bike for our daughter who is differently-abled than most other kids her age. She has balance difficulties, which, at this time would not allow her to ride a 2 wheeled bike. This bike is sturdy and even if she turns sharply, the bike will not tip over. The greatest attribute of the bike is the way it makes her feel when she rides it. That is priceless!!

I called a dozen bike shops looking for an adult trike and they were all well over $350. Plus, the $350 trikes were lesser known/lesser quality brands than Schwinn. Walmart sells this for an unbeatable price and they assemble it for free. It's really a no brainer. They have two trike options (the 24 inch and the 26 inch). I would go for the 26 inch if the person riding it is over 6 feet. It allows for more leg room.

My wife is handicapped and cannot balance on a regular bike, so we decided this would be the best option for her to continue to exercise. We bought a Schwinn because of the name we have used and trusted since we were kids. We continue to be customers...this is a very nice bike and perfect for my wife's needs. It is comfortable and easy to ride - after getting used to a "different" type of ride and turning, but everything works great. The basket is a nice addition. We have had the bike abour 3 weeks and although I might have added the 3-speed option for ease of riding on a hill, the bike is exactly what we wanted. I chose the option of having it deliverered and put it together myself, which was a learning experience but actually easier than expected. The assembly reminded me of many Christmas' with new bikes for our daugher! Actually assembly took about 4 - 5 hours and various tools but I took my time and read the instructions slowly.

I bought the bike for myself to get around thru the lower Florida Keys for fishing. Wanted the big trike as for it has the large basket in the rear for my tackle box, cooler etc. The bike came complete with no missing or damaged parts. Took me maybe an hour or just over to put it together no big deal at all. Only thing I had to do was after the first trip with it I had to make a few adjustments on the fenders, brakes and the handle bar needed to be made a little tighter. As for Walmart they had some kind of sale delievery all the way to Key West Florida was .97 and, it got here within 4 working days. I placed the order on a Saturday evening and had the bike by Thursday. So I'm happy! Great bike , great price outstanding service!

I bought this for my father who is having problems with his vision. This has given him some freedom to go to the store to pick up some groceries. It is a stable bike ride for him and also purchased a safety vest from walmart. So others can see him as he rides. Thank your offering such a great value that gives me a peace of mind as he travels.
