Schwinn Monroe 350 watt hub-drive, single speed, Urban/fixie, Electric Bicycle - 700c wheel size, Mens/Womens

I had high hopes for this bike but it did not work for me. I am 5'2"" and can not straddle the bike without being on my tippy toes. My 6'1"" husband tried it and had 3"" clearance so it is really only for tall people. The seat is very uncomfortable and hurt the soft area after just 10 minutes. It ergonomically hurts the back so I do not recommend this bike. I am returning. The peddle assist did work great and one really only needs to use the low levels to make riding very easy.

Cycling has always been a part of my life - when I was in college and now when I am working. It has helped me keep fit and explore places I never would have otherwise. Cycling has always been the most efficient way for a human to get around per given energy. However, I've reached a point in my life where riding a bike for a long distance, especially strenuous cycling uphill, causes so much discomfort in my back. That is why I am so happy with the numerous bike brands jumping on the electric bike wave - more options for me to choose from, and more comfort for those with a back injury such as myself to bring back the joy of riding a bike. Schwinn has always been a family favorite growing up. As someone who has been a owner of many Schwinn bikes in the past (Solara, Vantage, currently Super Sport), I will say that the Schwinn Monroe is no different in terms of the sheer quality with a minimalist look. Riding this bike feels like an extension of myself, and I immediately felt a sensation of being one with the bike. Not only are the controls easy to use, which make me safe, but there is so much power that I know that it will serve me well biking up the infamous, tough hills of San Francisco. I've had both aluminum and carbon frames in the past, but with an E-bike the difference is hardly noticeable. What is more important is the shifting and the Schwinn Constance uses 7-Speed Shimano. If you are a biker, you will know that Shimanos are top-notch for smooth gear shifts. All in all, I'd recommend Schwinn bike for the quality. I am writing this review as part of a contest, but these are all my genuine thoughts. Pros - Easy to use, intuitive, felt one with the bike - Classic minimalist design - Powerful but also controllable (feels safe) - Durable - Minimizes discomfort for those with back/hip injuries Cons - Heavy, not easy to carry around

Schwinn team has come up with a great bike. I really do like this bike and is everything it was advertised to be. Beautiful design. Good pricing. Fun and easy to ride, uphill easy with the pedal assist. Battery stays full longer than expected. It has plenty of power for road and a great commuter bike. Nice and smooth ride. Brakes are quiet and work well. Overall quality bike. I am writing this review as part of a contest.

I got this because my license was suspended and I needed transportation that didn't fall under regulations. eBikes require no titling, insurance, registration, or license. Pros: Nice power, distance. Tires make it good for mud and sand (and hopefully snow) Cons: Handlebar coverings keep slipping and the stitching is coming loose I am writing this review as part of a contest.
