[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received a sample of this Magic greener Scotch tape from 3M for my honest opinion. I honestly had never heard of the greener tape so I looked it up online. It's made more environmentally-friendly versus the original, more than 65% is made from recycled or plant based-based material according to the packaging and labels. It's still the great invisible matte tape that you're used to though and we used it for several things, taping shipping labels down, crafts, normal tears in paper and I couldn't tell any difference in the product. It worked great across the board. I also read that the tape is photo safe which is great since I work with photos in my crafts and projects. Anything that is better for the Earth is a good thing in my opinion. I will definitely look into buying more the next time I shop for tape.

I've always had satisfied results with Scotch products and this tape is certainly no exception. I'll readily admit that I'm not the most environmentally-minded consumer, but I will definitely make an attempt to reduce my impact on the environment whenever I have the chance. I do like that this tape is more environmentally-friendly without compromising performance. Tape and adhesives are certainly an area in which you get what you pay for and I've used a number of cheaper products in the past that are simply inferior in every way. Scotch is reliable and I will continue to look for innovative products such as this one. I'm pleased to know that it is possible to help the environment and maintain a high level of performance. If you want to do your part without sacrificing function, I'd definitely recommend adding this tape to your supply list.

I love supporting products that have taken the initiative to do better for our planet. More companies need to step into this direction. As a consumer I know that I'm often hoping that a " gone green" products performs as well as the original version I grown used to. This tape does infact perform as well as it always did. I especially love that I can repair torn pages in books seamlessly and still be able to see the writing etc. I also like that I can write on this tape with even a pencil and it shows. I received these for free to review and overall I'm very pleased. I like that they are taking steps to help the environment. The tape works as well as their traditional tape. I was glad to receive this Magic Greener Tape free from 3M to evaluate because I didn't realize they had a product like this that I don't have to throw out the whole tape dispenser when I am finished with it. It is great that I can easily use the refills when I am done with a roll and not throw out the refillable hand dispenser. The quality of the tape works the same as the original but is made with plant-based materials. I recommend this to everyone! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
