Scotch-Brite - Ocelo Handy Multi-Purpose Sponges, Colors, 4 Sponges/Pack (7274-FD) - Assorted

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] 3M gave me a free sample of this product to evaluate. I have been using the ocelo multi-purpose sponges for washing dishes. The really like the feel of the sponge on my hands, it's soft but tough enough to get the stuck on food off of my dishes, pans, and bake ware. The sponge is durable. I get it wet, add the dish soap, and it foams up nicely. It is safe to use on my non-stick cookware as well. I have also used it on my countertop and it is highly absorbent. Each time I pick up the sponge, I think about how soft it is. I think this is a great product and I look forward to warmer days when I can use it on the outside of my home.

Wish they came more to a package.

Ordered 6 Inch sponges and received 3 inch sponges Now I am told I cannot return them. Boo Hoo

I have been buying, and have been very pleased with, Ocelo sponges for decades, until now. I was not a fan when there was a change a while back (I believe to resist odors) that caused them to be initially less absorbent . However, after several uses the absorbency increased so I overlooked that issue. But the last few packages I have purchased have been a complete waste of money. They fall apart after a few uses. Several have torn, a small rip developed the first time I used it and after a few uses it was half way down the sponge. Then the entire sponge started disintegrating leaving chunks of sponge everywhere. If they don't rip, they still disintegrate quickly. I am trying to find a different brand, I won't be purchasing Ocelo again. What happened to the sponge I have relied on for so many years?
