Scotch® Contractor Grade Masking Tape 2020-36AP, 1.41 in

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Definitely gets the job done. There was no bleed through once the tape was painted over. It peels off easily once you get a good grip. I would purchase for future home painting projects. It is sticky enough for indoor and outdoor use.

This is really top quality masking tape -- it's sticky enough to do projects that require masking tape (like taping off stripes to paint on a wall) but it's not so sticky that it pulls paint off the wall when you remove the tape. I don't really understand how it works because it's nice and sticky yet not TOO sticky. I even stuck it on a piece of copy paper and it didn't rip it. We needed some masking tape for a craft project, and this tape worked perfectly! I had received a roll of the Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape free to evaluate recently and it worked perfectly to hold the walls of the diorama in place until the glue set. It was also excellent for taping off the sections of my barn quilt craft project so I could paint the details without the paint running into the other sections. Removal was clean and easy! I messed up my back so could not do the painting I wanted to do. I did clean baseboards a bit using the Scotch Contractor Grade Masking Tape. It did work. It was easy to tear off the roll, and easy to apply to the carpet. When finished it came up quite easily. Will be using it when I paint. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

This is a good product, but probably comparable to others. I liked the smooth finish, rather than the crepe-like texture of most masking tapes. It says it stays on for 3 days, but since I don't usually keep tape on that long, I really can't make a good comparison. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
