Scotch Thermal Laminator, Extra wide 13" Input, 1 Machine

This laminator works just as any larger one. I've had one before and loved how it functioned. So easy to use.

doesnt heat up enough to use the pouches that came with it. had to buy offbrand pouches that were thinner than 3 mil snd had to use the 5 mil setting to seal them. door/tray is also broken after only a few uses. so there is not way to feed sheets the way it is. will be returning.

I am not an expert laminator, but this little machine really delivers professional looking results. I used this for a project to laminate recipe cards, and used the 3mm lamination pouches (two came with the machine, and I purchased an additional box). I was a little concerned due to the 3mm description stating that it is for standard paper quality, and thicker paper should use 5mm pouches for a better quality/ stronger finish. This machine will laminate both sizes of pouches and has a separate setting for each that you can switch between with a push of the button. The recipe cards were a heavier paper and semi gloss finish, but the 3mm pouches and this machine delivered a perfect seal and protection of the recipes that I was looking for. There is a button in the event your lamination is stuck in the middle, in order to release it from the machine but I have not had a need to use it yet. All of the pouches glided through effortlessly. For the price, I do not think any other product can beat the performance or quality delivered by this little machine.

Love this laminator! I am a teacher and I use it at home and I like it better than the one that our school provides. It is small enough to store and the lamination is thick and very durable. You can't go working with this laminator. I bought one for my coworkers birthday and she agrees with me and loves it!

Of course Walmart sends me a link to rate this after barely owning the device. So this is more of a first impression than a review. If this thing lasts a while, I'll be very happy. We use this for recipes, static lists such as chores and repeat shopping items and whatever we can dream up along the way around the house. Hey, we already have it, might as well use it. We've had it a week or two and laminated a dozen or so items so far. It's not a super fast process, but it's not painful and the lamination comes out stellar. Of course there's no frills and you have to use pouches with this unit, but there's no need to change that. Just make sure you wipe any air out of the pouch and feed it in the right direction and your documents and photos should laminate perfectly. So far I'm really happy with this purchase.
