OXY Carpet Cleaner & Fabric Spot & Stain Remover, 22oz Spray Bottle 10226R

I bought this about a year ago to clean the light interior of my car, which eliminates dirt and other stains with almost no effort. I've recently been using this in-house for bad clothing and blanket stains before I put them in the wash. Also works fantastic.

It cleaned fresh stains better than older ones. But the 2 biggest issues - first is the odor of the product, getting worse every time using it, saw others had the same problem too; second is the bottle design, about 25% remaining but the nozzle just doesn't spay anymore because the straw is too short to reach the remaining liquid, really? it's 2019 and I had to deal with this kind of problem? I ended up emptying the remaining liquid to a cheap no name spay bottle to not to waste anything, just imagine how much of the unused chemicals wasted and polluted our environment because of this way.

I used this product today on the carpet in my bedroom. I assumed that a Scotchgard product would be superior to other carpet cleaners I have used in the past. I was very much mistaken and will now go back to my old tried-and-true cleaner (Spot Shot). Not only didn't the product not clean as well, but it has an AWFUL odor! I sprayed fabric refresher on the few spots I had sprayed and opened the windows. I just hope it dissipates before I go to sleep tonight!

Can't remember where we purchased this blue, 32 oz bottle, but before I've used it all, I want to restock! I've used on light carpet on new stains with great results -- so much that I worked on old stains with as much success. I use it on clothing as a pre-wash, and it works with one application normally -- two at the most! Apparently 3M has repackaged to a white bottle, and I don't know if they reformulated. They did change it to a 22 oz bottle. I've ordered online in a bit of a panic, literally praying that this product has not been changed and that it remains available. I am tempted to hoard! :D

Unfortunately the dog threw up on our brand new sofa. We removed as much as we could prior to using the stain remover. We followed the instructions found on the bottle. The great news is that the stain is gone. However the area that we treated to remove the stain is now darker than the rest of the fabric on the couch. We are heart broken that our sofa that is less than a week old now has a stain. We are hoping that we can remove the stain left by the stain remover.
