Scotts Lawn Fungus Control

I've used the Fungus Control at the curative rate for a few years with marginal ,if any, success. I use Scott's fertilizer three times a year and am normally a fan of Scott's products, but this one has let me down. I have read that overseeding with a desease resistant grass may be my best bet, and plan to try it next.

I read up and looked at pics of the spots on my lawn. I found them to be brown spots, so I bought this product to treat them. I followed the directions and waited and waited. That was w months ago! I still have the same spots! I do not recommend this product

I decided to handle the dollar stop on the lawn myself this year, as previous lawn care companies charged way too much for an application. I did two applications at the curative rate and it kept the dollar spot in check very well. Plus it was way cheaper doing it myself.

My lawn had Brown Spot disease. I applied Scotts Fungus Control to my lawn at the curative rate and within two weeks the lawn was free of Brown Spot. I applied a second application three weeks after the first and my lawn is totally fungus free. One drawback is the the product only comes in small bags and I have a large lawn (20,00 sq. ft.).

I live on a busy street and take pride in having my lawn and gardens look good for people driving by. Over the past few years, however, my lawn has been attacked by red thread. Scotts Lawn Fungus Control definitely helped my lawn, but it is by no means a cure all. I followed the instructions closely, putting down applications several times this year. I followed mowing instructions as well, removing the clippings to eliminate as much of the fungus as possible. Unlike last year where my lawn looked like someone took a blow torch to it, my lawn has dispersed areas of brown grass. I am hoping that by following the directions for application, mowing, and fertilizing, my lawn will grow through the brown grass this year. It's not perfect, but at least, three applications in, I still have a lawn I can be happy with.
