I used these to stake tomatoes. They are perfect for that purpose - very sturdy.
My tomato plants exceeded their XL tomato cages and I needed taller, strong support stakes, these are perfect, they went into the ground easily, stuck in FIRM, and now all of my heavy stray branches have support outside the cage. These have also been great to hold up the shade cloth I had to place over my garden. Because they are coated metal they won't rust or break like wood and with ridges to hold the plant tie tape in place, I couldn't be happier.
Very healthy plant and very sturdy very pleased with this one
Very flimsy. They are really only for soft ground because if you have to hammer on them any the metal is so flimsy that they just bend back and forth plus the point on them to help drive into ground is thin plastic so it quickly breaks off.
Made of plastic coated hollow steel rods that will break easily if not careful pushing in ground.
