Scotts Turf Builder with Plus 2 Weed Control

I used this on my front and back lawns and it killed the grass -- turned it to hay. I investigated other possibilities, and after many weeks of investigation tried the product again, and it did the same thing. I read and followed the directions. I'm sick over having to repair so much land which is marbled with hay. Used Scott's lawn seed and that didn't work. Blue pellets never took. Other brands did and I'm finally growing lovely grass. I will recommend scotts lawn soil that I used to cover the seed, but not scotts seed.

Like many others, this "weed and feed" killed and destroyed my lawn!! Instead of a beautiful, rich and green lawn, my grass is dead and brown!!! Huge disappointment and now I'm stuck trying to save what's left of my destroyed and pitiful grass. Scott's needs to refund those affected by this product, not only for the product itself, but the cost it takes to replace your lawn. This saddens me because I've always used Scott's lawn care!!

9 years and I finally have beautiful grass. I switched to Scotts and I have the lawn that everybody dreams about. I had a lady stop and ask if she could lay in my yard. She said it was the most beautiful lawn she had seen. It reminded her of when she was a young girl and lay in the grass and watch the stars at night. She said my grass looked so soft and lush just blowing in the breeze. She said it was something you would see in the movies. Excellent quality, easy to use and very effective. I only use Scotts fertilizer products and dont even consider anything else. I go directly to the Scotts section at my Lowes. I ferilize 4 x per year and my lawn has gone from mole and grub laden to pristine. Is it a bit more expensive? Yup - sure is. But if it is $10 more than any competitor that means I am paying $40 more per year to maintain my 100% Kentucky Rye grass lawn (also Scotts lawn seed). Worth it? Absolutelty.

Part of my lawn is connected with a neighbor's, so his lack of attention to his lawn had spread and virtually ruined my side. This spring, I put down the weed and feed and it has kept the lawn pretty clear of weeds (even though his remains a mess). Only recently did I start to see a few dandelions along the edge of my lawn, but overall it looks great. About to do the fall feeding now.
