We first bought another brand of scooter for our 7-year-old, but she hated it after 3 minutes. We returned it and got this one instead, and now she LOVES it! It's fast enough to keep her excited but not too fast for me to worry. It charges quickly, and she rides it all day with her friends. We're probably going to get one for our son next!

It's solidly built with a 135lbs rating, but I had to try it out myself (I'm 180lbs), and even then, it got me up to 10mph! The motor drives the front wheel while the rear brakes are strong enough to lock up the tire. With so many options out there, I feel like we really lucked out with this one. It holds a charge for ages, is super easy to ride, and it's helped my kid spend the entire summer outdoors, exploring and making new friends.
