So I purchased this headset with the idea that I would be able to use this and not disturb my wife while she sleeps. When I first got it home my first disappointment, the power adapter that comes supplied will ONLY recharge the headset it will NOT power the sender unit. The sender unit requires a 9V battery or an additional power adapter that could be purchased anywhere (it is just a standard 12v 200mah adapter that the documentation states can be any generic kind) trying to insert the 9V battery was nearly impossible the cable that holds the battery connectors is way too short and the battery compartment way too tight to allow you to do anything other than make the connection, but by no means is the battery connected or seated correctly. After charging the headset and fighting with the battery it was time to test out the actual connection. The rca plugs felt loose when I connected them to the back of the TV and gave out a horrible hiss and actually muted the sound (I can only describe it as listening to the TV under water.) so next we tried the RCA to 3.5mm jack adapter. The adapter didnt sit well in my TV as the adapter opened out to accommodate the RCA plugs and in my case because my headset jack was recessed it was impossible to get a connection, so with the help of a Headphone extension cable we tried again. This time there was a terrible hiss that drowned out the voices. Needless to say this product went back the next day.

This product was a bit confusing at first to set up. But has been a great product ever since. I recomend this to anyone who is always on the go around the house, work or gym. The pastic could be softer for a more comfrotable fit. Overall a good deal.

I received it inoperable; I liked the rechargeable batteries in the Headphones. I can't give it any rating other than the price and it wasn't comfortable behind the neck, the headphones didn't fit right over the ears. The price was good if it worked. I went to the store and bought the standard wireless over the head Headphones made by the same company, a little more expensive but they work great. I would recommend the over the head model #HO800. However, keep a good supply of AAA batteries for the headset and buy a 12VDC power adapter for the transmitter instead of using the 9V battery required. My wife loves it; she doesn't hear the TV anymore. Now she wants a pair for herself.

Bought this for my teenage daughter so I let her rate it. She says that it's great when it's first charged but it loses charge easily. She also says it's uncomfortable to wear. Would be good to sit and watch tv, but on the go too much to have to carry around.

I previously had Sentry wireless but not rechargeable and ate through a lot of batteries. This is great for the price but the base was still powered by a 9v battery. I went and bought a power plug for it which cost me $20 more but it's worth it in the long run, 9v aren't cheap and they don't last long. I hooked it up to my TV and use them while exercising and it works great!
