i was impressed with the reviews and i remember this toy when it first came out it looked like lots of fun.i love specialty or unqiue toys and collect them i bought this for my 4 month old grandson and althought he dosen,t even know what it is he,s all smiles just like the reviews say almost every one else who came in contact with elmo were equaly pleased emotiones range from big smiles to histerical laughs most every one who'se had kids has some contac with sesamie street caracters and love them.believe it or not i still enjoy watching them thier comical and hope to veiw them with my new grandson when he's of age one day (also elmos very photogenic with babies great pics)

My 18 month old loves this and carries it everywhere he goes. A couple of clues are hard to do for adults, but overall it makes my toddler very happy. Battery life does not last long, probably because Elmo is being played constantly. Have a few challenges with the song not always playing through even with new batteries. So we may have a little defect in ours. Otherwise we love this.

We purchased this TMX Elmo for our 2 and 1/2 year old son and he didn't like it because it was to hard for him to find where Elmo needed to be tickled. My husband and I even had to play with it for awhile before we could show our son how to use it. You have to get hints off of the Internet and position and tickle it in certain ways to get it to sing the specials songs and dance.

I bought this Elmo for my 20 month old daughter who absolutely loves Elmo. Unfortunately this Elmo just does too much for her comfort level and she is terrified of it! But all of the older kids at Christmas loved it and so did the adults. After Christmas I was disappointed to find I could have waited and only payed $10 for it but that's ok. I ended up buying another one for my father who also thought it was one of the funniest and engaging toys he had seen!!

There isn't much difference between the previously released TMX Elmo and this special version. You get clues on what secquence to do things in for Elmo to perform but a 2 year old can't comprehend. Older kids couldn't care less. Hey, he laughs and it's infectious but that's about all. Got it for $20.00, $20 less than the origiuonal TMX so it was a good deal. Kids will love either version.
