I use it on ormental flowers. It does NOT affect the insect population. My petunias are being eaten. No moths or caterpillars have been found on the plants this year, however, something is eating on the petunias and the zinnias. I juat wish I could find it and identify it.
I was attacked by yellow jackets from a nest next to one of my shrubs while I was mowing my yard. Later at night, after they had retreated into the nest, I took this powder, poured about 3 tablespoons into a small cup and very quickly poured the powder onto the nest and ran away. the next day they were all dead, and never came back. Highly recommend. Very effective on yellowjackets.
I personally never used the product. However, I have several friends who have had garden for years. Each recommend me to purchase. It works. Just one application so far.
I love Sevin Dust to combat our ant problem. I sprinkle it onto the ants and the are immediately gone. It is helping our tomato and pepper plants grow and produce.
this works great for all sorts of garden pests. japanese beetles, aphids, ants, etc don't stand a chance. i just wish I could find a duster to use this stuff with because it can be a headache to get out of the container. the lid is a pain to open/close too.
