It works great
love this fan. There is a newer, sleeker model. But, I like this one. The extenders don't work. My son mounted the fan in plywood, and secured it in a window with screws and alarm. I use it to exhaust hot summer air from my west facing kitchen.
We bought this window fan like 2 months ago. It took me about 10 min to set it all up. We have left it on all the time since we received it. The fan is very short, like 6 inch tall, and is surprisingly powerful. Hopefully it will last long
The window attachments don't fit the fan. Can't make air-tight seal with the window.
I like how quiet it is and it seems to really move the air. The fill-in foam pieces aren't very efficient and are awkward to use. For the price, I think that part could have been better.
