It works great
love this fan. There is a newer, sleeker model. But, I like this one. The extenders don't work. My son mounted the fan in plywood, and secured it in a window with screws and alarm. I use it to exhaust hot summer air from my west facing kitchen.
We bought this window fan like 2 months ago. It took me about 10 min to set it all up. We have left it on all the time since we received it. The fan is very short, like 6 inch tall, and is surprisingly powerful. Hopefully it will last long
The window attachments don't fit the fan. Can't make air-tight seal with the window.
Let's in a very small amount of light compared to my old 2 blade window fan. It's definitely not as powerful but the compact size and ability to sleep with it make it worthwhile.
