Shea Moisture African Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer 2 oz

I have been using this moisturizer for over a decade. As a woman with skin that is both blemish prone and often dry, the original formula was heaven. It kept my skin moisturized, without feeling greasy, and kept my blemishes in check. I have fair and sensitive skin to boot, and every moisturizer that I tried before finding the original formula of this product did not do the trick. They were either too heavy and pore clogging, too light and skin drying, made me break out, or left my skin irritated. But the original formula of Shea Black Soap Balancing Moisturizer was perfect for my skin. It was so good that I even swapped out my regular body bar for the Shea Moisture African Black Soap. Both of which were so good that my husband started using them. Then, Unilever buys the Shea Moisture line, and the formula changed. It's sticky on my skin yet leaves my face feeling dry and under-moisturized. It, quite frankly, sucks. They ruined a perfect product? Why? Are you trying to pander to White women? If so (news flash!), many of us were already using and loving the product as it was! It was perfect as originally designed. It took me years and years to find a product as great and perfect for my skin as the original formula was. Bring back the original formula because the new formula is trash.

Bring back the old formula. It's absolutely insane to see how many 1 star reviews this new formula has and the shared experiences of people who experienced burning?????? I've been using the old formula on my neck for YEARS because of how thick, gentle, and moisturizing it was. I recently reupped, upon opening I IMMEDIATELY noticed a difference in the texture and smell. I'm incredibly disappointed and will be looking for a new moisturizer.

This new formula leaves my face feeling like I have sun burn. In no way is this an improvement or even comparable to the old formula. What was the need to change it?? I will not purchase this new lightweight texture formula again, it was fine the way it was please bring back the old formula exactly the it it was.

The new Balancing Moisturizer formula replaced the old problem skin moisturizer and has coconut oil which causes breakouts rather than preventing them! Please please please bring back the old formula for African black soap problem skin moisturizer! It worked wonders!

I have the problem skin moisturizer and it is amazing. it however is getting more and more difficult to find. This formula did not contain coconut oil. The coconut oil makes my acne worse!!! The other formula if I had a breakout actually made it better in three days and the redness disappears overnight
