Shea Moisture African Black Soap Problem Skin Facial Mask 4 oz (Pack of 3)

This is a very unique product with a very unique smell! My face feels tightened and refreshed after using. A hidden gem product. Love this stuff!

While this product is effective, I gave it four stars because it's not efficient. I've had other masks that treat my acne better, but that's not to say that this isn't a good quality mask. One word of warning I should put out is that I would avoid this product if you have sensitive skin. My skin can barely be called sensitive but this product started causing some pretty uncomfortable burning around the corners of my nose and cheeks that I had to rinse with cold water for a while. It's been about 14 hours and I can still feel the burning a bit but it's minimal. I have found that I can use it as a spot treatment on the tougher areas of my face like my forehead and outer cheeks. TL:DR it's good for acne prone skin but I'd seek something more gentle if you have concerns about sensitivity or other reactions

This mask is everything I could've asked for. If I feel like my skin needs a little boost, I just apply this and I can leave it on for as long as I want without irritation. Rinse it off and apply your favorite moisturizer! I have dry/combo skin and the area around my nose can get pretty oily. This works wonders on my face; it leaves my skin flowing, soft, bouncy, and just perfect. And it helps fade the appearance of some of my dark spots and minimizes the pain and appearance of any minor pimples I have. UGH! This is so good! And it smells so fresh and has a wonderful cooling sensation when I first apply it. Thank you Shea Moisture!

I used this because I have the soap and I loved the soap. Well let me tell you. I put this on and it kind of burnt but that's normal for me. I went to wash it off and my skin hurt so bad like a few layers were missing. As I was washing my face I noticed it was red and then I put moisturizer on and that's when I looked and saw that I looked like the devil do not recommend this to anyone

this product made my face BURN seconds after applying it. after i rinsed it off my face was left red, with a burning sunburnt feeling. do NOT recommend this at all
