Shea Moisture Raw Shea Butter Deep Treatment Masque 12 oz (Pack of 6)

I feel sorry that I put this thing on my hair and most of all, spent that much money on it. I love the Shea Moisture Curl collection and I was hoping that this one would help me with my dry hair and enhance my curls which was not the case. My hair was never worse, I had very hard time detangling it and the product smells disgusting.

I've been using this product for a few years, then all of a sudden my scalp started reacting to it really aggressively. I don't know if the formula was changed, but I kept using it , thinking the itchiness was caused by something else. Once I stopped using this mask my scalp stopped itching, but I noticed I now have a BALD SPOT. If you've been experiencing an itchy scalp STOP USING THIS PRODUCT. I have 3C low porosity hair. The only Shea Moisture product that doesn't make my scalp itch is the African Black Soap line.

This product smells really good and is a popular brand but the texture is so weird. My hair feels more dry and tangled after i put it on than it did before. It doesn't feel smooth and my hair doesn't feel soft and conditioned like other silicon free masks i've tried before. won't be buying again

When I applied this product to my hair it felt like it was stringy and dry but I thought that might be how it feels at the beginning so I left it in for about 30 minutes and when I rinsed this out of my already dry hair it made it feel like it was even more dry and left a gross dried out look to my hair

I saw rave reviews about this product, so I bit the bullet and spent the money. After the first use, my hair felt really dry and brittle and I needed to then use a conditioner. I kept thinking that maybe I needed to use more and keep it in longer, so this morning, I did exactly that. Nope! Same results. I have 3B hair and needed some more moisture, but I guess I'm back to the drawing board.
