I only gave this a 2 because it applies so well. But this stuff flakes like crazy. Don't waste other products by mixing with this.

Used this to do my box braids on clean, blow dried natural hair. My roots and braids had hold but the roots looked dry and dull using just a small amount of this product. I stopped using this after several braids and used a different gel with better results. Other products from this brand have been great.

My hair is healthy & long but naturally thin & mixed texture (wavy, some curls, straight at the crown). I bought this product because I love a simple braid in my hair & because of the natural ingredients. It is amazing on wet or dry hair. I can have 2nd or 3rd day post-wash hair that's silky soft, frizz free, & perfectly manageable thanks to this fine hair product. I consider it a hair styler & healer, as it smooths my hair and conditions without weighing it down. PLEASE DON'T discontinue this excellent product!

This product is very flaky, it made my hair dry and itchy.
