One of the few natural hair products out there for curly people with light fine hair. I always come back to this because other products weigh down my hair. Plus this helps regrow hair and I lose little hair when I use it. Please never discontinue this product.
My best friend (4b hair) and I (4a hair) used to suffer from really bad breakage -- like losing handfuls of hair every time we styled out hair type bad. Thankfully, this product left our hair feeling moisturized and our hands with A LOT less hair than what would usually come out. Even though this product smells AMAZING (yet another hair product Shea Moisture should turn into a perfume) and truly gives our hair that frizz-free definition, it makes our hair SOOO hard and crunchy -- literally when we hugged, I felt the hardness of her hair on my face and was surprised that it did that to her hair too. Maybe its lack of softness is from the protection it does provide our hair, but now I only use it for putting in protective styles rather than styling my natural, so there is less breakage when I take it out and the style can last longer. As for my friend, she loves the frizz-free component and pleasant scent of the product, so she continues to use it and has gotten used to the way it makes her hair feel.
I love this leave in and keep coming back to it everytime I try something else because there There is none like! I have low porosity 3b fine curls and struggle to find styling/leavein creams that won't leave my hear stringly and weighed down. This is the only product I can use that leaves my hair moist, light, keeps my curls thick curly and not transform them into a stringly curly mess. I love it and pray they always keep this product for us fine curly hair girls who do not have a lot of options out there! Oh and every time I decide to try something else, my hair just does not grow the same! This definitely helps me retain growth!
I really enjoy using this milk to style my hair daily. My hair is left shiny and really managable. Usually i wash my hair during weekend and by midweek its tangled, this milk helps my hair last til the next weekend wash. Plainly and simply good. I've got curly hair type 3C and 4A in some parts and it works really well.
I had originally fallen in love with the yucca & baobab formula but can no longer find it. They must have reformulated it. So I decided to try this. I do love the control it gives this 50 yr old, Caucasian grandma's thin hair that is about 75% grey. I think I like the original formula better as it seemed to make my hair feel thicker, but this formula is very nice too! The smell is wonderful too. Highly recommend!
