Very happy with my purchase. The best to protect the convertible top of my car which is parked under big pine trees.
I'm not 12 leave review but after getting 3 inches with rain on top, Discuss zebo canvas top held on for dear life until I could get the snow off which was pretty heavy. I'm glad I didn't cheat out and get some knock off brand. I also double staked the rope ends And I put stainless steel screws where the metal couples to metal. I am very surprised and relieved I don't have to replace it. Well done shelter logic
For the price it is an effective cover. However, there are several weak points in the design. First, the elastic bands that are supplied to hold the tarp to the side rails are cute but useless. They stretch out with the least amount of precipitation allowing the canvas to sag which catches water which then pools and pulls the tarp down further leading to collapse of the entire unit. For snow loading I would suggest roping the side rails on opposite sides together to keep them from spreading apart. The elastics are only useful when you initially erect the unit but must be replaced with something sturdier. My solution is to use a strong twine or rope through the grommets to lace the tarp directly to the side rails eliminating the elastic bands entirely. This has worked so far on the 2nd unit I purchased. The first unit is where the learning curve began. Even the replacement cover I bought for the first unit only lasted less than 2 years. The first unit would have lasted longer but it collapsed because it was still tied to my truck when I drove out from under it. LOL My fault there. Next here in Texas the tarp lasts at most 2 years before beginning to decompose and tear. Perhaps a coat of latex paint after it is erected would protect it from UV rays but I haven't tried that yet. When erecting the frame use duct tape to secure the joints or they will fall apart as soon as you turn your back. Ideally it takes 3 people to erect the unit, one at each leg per-side. Wind will play havoc with the tent if not secured. It makes a great sail so make sure to tie it to something heavy.
This is my third canopy. They are well made and stand up to lots of extreme weather conditions. Some storms are just too much for a canopy structure, but they last longer than I thought they could.
Very happy with the quality of this affordable canopy
