[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As we move out of the chilly weather and into the wonderful warm days of summer, my family is spending more and more time outside. This Evenflo Shyft RideShare wagon is going to completely change the way we do summer, and for that I have to give a quick thank you to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for allowing us to test this wagon in exchange for our honest review. With young kiddos, getting out and about can be difficult, but this wagon solves for all our needs for our younger kids as well as our older ones. The wagon didn't take too long to assemble—maybe 20 minutes, and that is with the kids wanting to help. It was very direct and to the point, the instructions were clear, and the box broke down super easily for our recycling bin (small wins!). Once assembled, this wagon is a bear. It is large and it is heavy, however it folds differently than any wagon or stroller I've had before, it sort of just collapses flat. It fit well in the back of our van, although it did take up more space than I expected. With that said, it is pretty easy to pop the wheels off and make it considerably more compact. I do like that it folds down even with the cup holder or storage bag attached; this leaves less for me to accidentally leave behind. As for the ride itself, it is amazing! It was super easy for both my 2 and 4 year old to get into, thanks to the collapsing sides, and it was deeper than most wagons we've experienced before. I felt like my kids were very secure with the 3 point harness and higher sides. The canopy was innovative, and we ended up loving it. It provided perfect shade to both kids even in harsh midday sunlight while at the zoo. Not only did the kids get great sun coverage, but I could still see them while pushing the wagon. It also was easy to wipe clean when a snowcone found it's way across the seat (per the usual with kids, very first usage and a spill occurs). The only downside I have found so far is that it is not super comfortable when your kiddo starts to get tired- my 2 year old kept trying to lean his head on the side but he couldn't seem to get comfortable. This isn't a big deal for us though as we have a compact stroller we can bring along that has a flat recline for nap times. Additionally, I wonder how well the material on the handlebar will hold up as it seems like it can easily be destroyed, but the texture gives an amazing grip and I have zero proof it will come apart in the future. Overall, this wagon was great. It pushed and pulled easily, provided great comfort and coverage to my kids, and will last much longer than any of our other wagons since it can become a cargo carrier after the kids have outgrown it.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stroller wagon to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. It was perfect timing, as we had been looking at stroller wagons since last summer. I have two kids, ages 5 and 2. The 5 year old has far outgrown the double stroller, but we still wanted something she could take a break in during longer walks (like at the zoo or to our neighborhood pool). She and her brother also love that they can see each other, talk and play vs. when we used to have them in the stroller. They’ve even asked me to bring it inside so they can have more “tea parties” in it (see photo). What I love most about the stroller wagon is the versatility. Pulling a true “wagon” with two kids up a hill sounds miserable! I always use the stroller wagon in stroller mode when the kids are in it, but I can see using wagon mode to haul party supplies, food and drinks down to a campfire, etc. I was a little nervous about set up but it was so easy. I’m not handy at all. Took me 20 minutes and that was with two kids “helping.” The only part I found a little tricky was collapsing the walls down for storage. I found a video that showed someone else doing it and that helped! The trick seems to be pulling up a little before you press down. It reminded me of how you’d collapse a pack n play. Once I figured that out, no other issues!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a really wonderful wagon. I was initially impressed with how easy it was to assemble right out of the box. Even though it is pretty heavy duty, it looks sleek and modern. I love the snack tray, which provides a place for snacks and drinks while in use but also makes folding and unfolding the wagon so easy. My favorite feature is that the sides can be lowered for easy loading and unloading. I can comfortably push two toddlers (40 lbs and 25 lbs) in this wagon. We mostly use it for walks to the park, which includes pavement and some trails and the wagon does great. I am looking forward to warmer weather to test the wagon at the beach. This is an easy to use, multipurpose wagon that would be great for any family with young kids, and would easily grow with the kids and continue to be useful. Thanks to the Stellar Product Testing Panel for providing me with this stroller wagon.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was given this stroller wagon to try as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel, but am providing an honest review in return. The wagon took, at most, 15 minutes to assemble. The directions were clear and it was extremely easy to set up. After using the wagon to go for walks in the neighborhood, on paved roads and grass, going to the zoo, and for a walk on our park’s walking trail, I am so pleased with the quality of this wagon. It is easy to transition between the various modes. I used the wagon mode most for pushing my 16 month old, but I can absolutely see a use for it while camping to bring all of our gear to the pool from our camper. The wagon pushes so easily. Even on rougher terrain like grass and rocks, it’s incredibly easy to maneuver. It folds down flat to put in the car. It does have a pretty large footprint, so ensuring you have that cargo space is very important. While it folds down flat enough to put items on top of it (or in it if you wish), it doesn’t get smaller than the size of the frame. This isn’t a huge deal with an SUV as I just out the items were traveling with inside of the wagon. My 16 month old was a little hesitant to ride in this at first, but once she did, she loves it. I love the snack tray that goes inside because I can fill her up with snacks and her water cup and she has easy access to it while we walk. I also like that it has the shoulder straps because she would not sit if they weren’t there. Overall excellent product and I’d recommend to anyone with one or two little ones.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We received this product as part of the Stellar Product Testing Panel. The stroller wagon has great esthetics, and we love the black and grey color bc we don't have to worry about it being dirty! It is extremely easy to set up. We really liked how this stroller wagon offers 4 different modes. So far, we've used the wagon and stroller modes the most. The wheels are very smooth and stable, and maneuverability is excellent, making it extremely easy to push or pull (cargo mode). However, we only tried this stroller on paved concrete and parks (slightly off road/ trail type of surface). It wasn't super bumpy and our toddler enjoys riding in it. We tried the infant car seat mode once and didn't really like it because it blocks our view from seeing our toddler and his view of us too (he's facing the back of the infant car seat). It is very convenient to have both children on the stroller, and reduces the burden on the parent, AND there is lotsa space inside the wagon! This has gotta be our favorite feature of the stroller - ample space and how comfortable it is for our toddler. The canopy covers both kids completely but still very breathable bc the sides of the wagon is mesh fabric. The cup/ snack tray is removable and is great for snacking. There is also a pretty big caddy for extra stuff on the side. If there is one disadvantage, it is that this stroller wagon is definitely on the bulky side. Granted, this is our first stroller wagon, and have never tried something this big/bulky, so we're still adapting to it. When folded, the most compact it can be is flat from the top down, so footprint is still relatively large. This stroller also takes up our entire trunk space and we have a crossover SUV. It'll probably be even more space consuming on our sedan's trunk. This is something to consider when thinking about purchasing this stroller wagon.
