The Mattress was shipped rolled up and sealed in a vacuum bag. After approximately 8 hours, it was almost 100% expanded and came with a mattress cover easily removed by zipper for washing. Although the manual stated that you 'might experience a slight odor' from being packaged, I did not notice such an odor other than the 'New' smell things have. After testing :), I have to say that this Firm Mattress is extremely comfortable and retains its firmness. After 2 weeks, I measured the height of our mattress and it wasn't quite 10 inches, it came in at 9.5 inches. Highly recommend the Firm version of this product.

My lower back has hurt pretty badly for almost a year. When we'd sleep at a hotel--or any bed other than ours usually--my back didn't hurt the next morning. I looked and looked and did research on mattresses. Finally a friend bought and highly recommended this memory foam mattress. Truthfully, I didn't have much hope. I mean, after all, it's not a very expensive mattress comparatively. This mattress has been wonderful!! We've been sleeping on it only a week, and already my back is MUCH better. I don't wake up with pain, and I can even bend over to pick up something or put on shoes. I would highly recommend it.

This is my fourth purchase on this mattress. I purchase one for my son while he was in college. He raved about how well this mattress was. I purchased a king for his bed when he returned home. He went on vacation and I decided to sleep in his bed and discovered it truly slept well and I realized it was easy for me to move about and get comfortable, being that I was recovering from total knee replacement surgery. We swopped beds when he returned home. If you require additional comfort buy a pillow top and place it on the mattress. It's worth it. We moved out of state and I purchased two more. In the attached photo you can see it's fully inflated on a king bed with box springs. I let it sit for 48 hrs to allow ultimate I flatiron. There was no odor and the package came well wrapped I realized that the delivery guys drag these boxes vs using dollys so if your box arrive tore up that's why. Fortunately for me I live in a carpeted with elevator condo so the condition of my boxes were fine. I recommend that Walmart need to mark the boxes stating use dollys when moving & delivery.

The shipment of the product surprised me as it wasn't in stock at the nearest Walmart store for me... So I had to order it online and I was surprised it was packaged in a decent size box to be unwrapped and easily unrolled. I bought the twin size and in a couple of minutes, it expanded to it's size. Really soft and firm, definitely would suit for a student living on a budget, not a pricey mattress, and it's got quality.

I purchased this mattress because of review saying it helped someone with a bad back get a good nights sleep. Received sight to store as scheduled. Small box easily transported home. Mattress came out flat but was at its 12 inch height in under 20 minutes. Slept on it after giving it 2 days to fully decompress, as suggested in the brochure, and it was like sleeping on a cloud. At first thought it was going to be to soft but it was perfect. Does not solve my back problems but now I can lie down to sleep instead of sleeping in a recliner all the time. Don't know how long it will last but is a nice mattress and I would recommend it and buy it again. Very good value also.
