Silver Spring 2-1/4in High Aluminum Mobility Threshold Ramp for Wheelchairs, Scooters, and Power Chairs

The only reason I gave the threshold ramp 4 stars is because it was not easy to put together. Getting the tiny screws into the holes and trying to get them screwed in was very awkward. I consider myself moderately strong, but I could not get the screws in sufficiently to be able to use the ramp safely. I had to have my son come over to assist and even he had difficulty and wasn't able to get the screws in all the way and have them be flush. This caused a lot of undue anxiety. However, now that the ramp is put together, it's working as we had hoped it would. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We use ramp for front door that has a.3 1/2 inch rise for our family member in a wheelchair. The ramp was easy to assemble, light weight and fits perfectly. It has made life so much easier getting our loved one in and out of house. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

We needed a sturdy well made wheelchair for my father who had mobility issues. We ordered the 10 ft. ramp with a threshold extension. We are really happy with it. We received it within 3 business days. Easy to assemble and to anchor. We plan on moving my parents. It is wonderful that we can take the ramp with us to our new home and use it there as well.

The ramp was easy to install and easy to assemble. However the holes that were predrilled for the confecting screws were at a bad angle and most of the screws heads stripped half way in and where not seated all the way in. The screws do seem to hold the sections together.

these threshold ramps are the perfect solution to easily transition from the door threshold to the porch. It was so easy to install, look great, and will outlast any threshold made from wood. Also think the selling price is reasonable. I don't intend on moving and I don't think I will need another, but I highly recommend this for anyone in a wheelchair, or mobility scooter.
